Messrs L P S Sturt, E Heron, P M ,and C Mollison, the board appointed to inquire into the charges made against Sergeant Steele, of Wangaratta, before the Police Commission, met yesterday at the Treasury buildings Mr Sturt presided evidence is to be taken on Monday next at half past 2 o'clock pm. Sergeant Steele, Constable Arthur, Constable Phillips, and Mr and Mrs Reardon have been summoned to attend. The board appointed Mr H E Wade to act as secretary.
