First taken up in 1838 by 'Tooth' or David Wilson (45,000 acres). From the original run Annandale, Kangaroo Ground, Razorback, Farleyer and Weem became separate holdings.
James Wilson sold the remaining part of the Tallangatta run in 1868
Menzies and Nicoll.
In 1870 Archibald Menzies purchased the run and held it until 1877 when he
sold it to J Inglis and H O'Neill who held it until 1877

Kangaroo Ground was separated in about 1847
Razorback is on the west bank of the Tallangatta Creek. It was separated
off in about 1865 and in 1876 Archibald Menzies sublet the property to Elliot
Heriot of Carabobala.

In 1879 Razorback was transferred with the rest of Tallangatta to Inglis and
O'Neill
In 1876 the license to Kangaroo Ground was held by London Chartered Bank,

Weem was the northern part of Tallangatta and it was separated off
