First taken up between 1837 and 1840 by the overlander from New South Wales, William Hugh Scott (14,000 acres)

In 1876 Burrowye North was licensed to Andrew Anderson, Thomas Brown, James Rutherford and the half yearly license fee was £153 See also (Argus8/2/64)
