Mentioned by Ned Kelly in the Jerilderie letter and Cameron letter as Swannell
After William Cooke was arrested over
the theft of James Whitty's horse in
October 1877 Ned Kelly decided to sell
up and leave north eastern Victoria. He used Mr Swanhill of Lake
Rowan to try and sell some of his horses.
