was born on 12th August 1856
After the seige at Glenrowan I went with my family to live in Cobram

Samuel Steward was the son of William Steward and Ann Asquith. Ann was the
sister of Christopher Asquith junior of Barjarj

The Stillard family in more recent years, sold their Kelly armour
pieces to the Victorian Government.
In later years by co-incidence, a descendent of Samuel Steward married a
descendent of Const Stillard.
