Special train leaves Melbourne to go to Beechworth - follow up on death of Aaron Sherritt
I was the fireman on the special train from Melbourne to Benalla and on the pilot engine from Benalla to Glenrowan. (RC8044)

Arrive at Glenrowan
I arrived at Glenrowan by train at about 2.30 am on the morning of the siege with Sup Hare.

We spent the rest of the day sending trains up and down the line
