The family was not happy when Aaron married his wife but I thought that Belle was a nice enough girl and I used to visit them from time to time. Especially after Aaron started to get threatening letters. I know that Mum did not visit Aaron and Belle and I doubt if to many other members of the family cared much for the marriage. You know Belle was a catholic (RC13227)

Although Sup Hare had not met me or my brother John before Aaron's death, he thought that unless the authorities showed some consideration for the families of those who had assisted the police, on any future occasion they would have the greatest difficulty in getting men to work for the police.
