The Glenrowan seige

I was the telegraph line repairer from Beechworth who climbed the telegraph pole at Glenrowan amidst a storm of bullets-succeeded in opening a special office, and communicated direct to Melbourne.

I came down from Beechworth on the train with my boss Mr Cheshire (Argus30/7/80)

Kelly Reward Board

Following the meetings of the Reward Board in December 1880 I recieved a reward of about £25
