in Victoria 6/3/1879
I
and 5 other Queensland
trackers
with Senior Constable
King and Insp O
'Connor
had come down to Sydney by ship. We then travelled from Sydney to
Albury
by train. At 7 pm on 6/3/
1879. The
names of my fellow trackers were Corporal
Sambo
and Troopers
Hero,
Johnny,
Jimmy,
and
Barney. We arrived at Benalla at 2pm on 10/3/1879.(

I arrived at Glenrowan by train at about 2.30 am on the morning of the siege with Sup Hare
Begining of the siege
I took up a position infront of the hotel with Insp O'Connor and my mates..
Following the meetings of the Reward Board in December 1880 I recieved a reward of about £50
