On 25/6/1880 I went to visit Sup Hare in Benalla and told him about the KellyGang and that they were likely to break out soon and about them making armour.(RC16566)

CB William's (not William Charles Balfour) application for a share of the reward was rejected by the reward Board but they recommended that he was worthy of special recognition for services rendered during the period of the search for the outlaws. There is no other reference to 'CB William' on this site
