I have been in business I helped the police out of friendship to Det Ward , whom I have known for nineteen years. (RC13465)

Mrs Byrne and her children were vey short of food and on occasions she beg for food from me.
I delivered one parcel just before the Jerilderie robbery. I got paid by the KellyGang through Aaron Sherritt but I never got the money. (BWC)

on a good many occasions took supplies for the police cave party as far as Mrs. Sherritt's house.From there they were taken on to the cave by the Sherritt family (RC13461)

As I had been serving Mrs. Sherritt for years, Det Ward asked me to forward the things down to her, and we made arrangements with her and one of her daughters and one son for those things to be laid at a certain place, wherever they would appoint. Her son Aaron would then come and take them;to the police in the cave.This continued from late December when the cave party started until April when it ended. (RC13855) see also (RC5578)
I got orders from Det Ward to keep it as secret as possible, and it was my interest to do so. (RC13474)

Throughout June I used take the cart out to Aaron Sherritt's place each week with the supplies to feed the police. We used to keep it quite but I did have many other customers in that area who gave such good orders (RC13473).see also (RC13379)
