2/6/1881 Const Gascoigne continued his evidence - some brief highlights

Const Gascoigne joined the police force on 6/3/1879. He was taken on as a probationary constable at that time by Captain Standish, at the time of the Kelly outrages.

The most valuable information about the KellyGang that Gascoigne heard.

What did Gascoigne think of Aaron Sherritt and the usefulness of the other agents?

What was the threat to the police like soon after the Glenrowan siege? Was it any better for Gascoigne as a local of the district?
