BENALLA, Monday
On Saturday afternoon two girls, daughters of Mrs Jones, hotelkeeper, of Glenrowan, were felling a tree to obtain hive bees, when the tree, falling suddenly, killed the eldest, Annie, and injured the other on the back of the head.
