THE MANSFIELD MURDERS

MANSFIELD. WEDNESDAY
A large body of armed troopers left to-day with packhorses to scour the different parts of the district. I am not aware whether they have got any information, but the men seemed to be starting in great spirits, and some news is expected. The sum of £10 was unanimously voted by the shire council at to-day's meeting in aid of the murdered police memorial fund.
